The first collaboration between Tim Rundle and Menu has brought the TR Bulb Series to reality. Tim Rundle’s inspiration comes from simple observations and problems that he witnesses in day to day life. Nowadays, it can be the norm for somebody to live away from home for work or leisure, multiple times a year. The designer was influenced to design a lamp that is essentially a bulb to move from place to place with the traveler. In his words, “seeking to improve the manufactured environment through elegant, technically refined solutions”. The TR Bulb is installed by simply screwing the bulb into any E27 socket. From hotel to hotel or country home to city pad, the TR Bulb can be installed and uninstalled on a regular basis in a number of different environments.
The simple and refined design of this suspension frame, makes it the perfect addition to any interior room or style, for example your traditional living area at home to the kitchen in your swanky London apartment. Available in shiny opal glass or matte opal glass, the bulb’s core has been crafted from aluminum to draw heat away from the LED, allowing the bulb to shine at its maximum temperature to cast a warming and inviting ambience. The suspension light consists of four light bulbs and a contemporary black steel structure that both pairs beautifully with the simplistic opal glass diffuser. The suspension frame could be suspended over your kitchen counters or island to create a formal and sophisticated practical, entertaining space.
From table lamps to ceiling lights and pendants, the TR Bulb Series has all the lighting necessities you need. Menu also has a fantastic range of lighting that you should definitely take a look at.
