Designed by Scandinavia’s leading designers, Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos, the Dancing Pendant Light has been created for Danish design brand, Menu. This flamboyant pendant light resembles the dress or skirt of a dancer twirling on the dance floor. The exquisite, ripples around the circumference of this light creates an incredibly realistic effect. Not only does this light look like an elegant ballerina’s attire, when viewed from below with a bulb within, it is reminiscent of an open flower with a rich and luminescent center.
The designers are dedicated to including effective and practical sustainability within their work. What appears as a traditionally crafted pendant light, is a light that has been lovingly manufactured from 100% recyclable felt, primarily sourced from used water bottles. It’s not only an impressive design but also an eco-friendly creation. By incorporating their passion for sustainability into this design, they have produced a remarkable piece of art that both inspires people to make a difference and become more environmentally aware of their surroundings. Playful and delicate, the off-white Dancing Pendant would fashion well with nearby curtains or drapes of a similar texture and style. Hang up above in your living space, bedroom or even dressing room for an extra touch of spirit.
We believe that no interior space is complete without lighting. If nothing else, a pendant light is the perfect lighting piece to illuminate the whole space. The curated range of pendant lights that we sell here, are part of the designer lighting collection that we have lovingly pieced together. The range consists of pieces from many prestigious brands such as Menu and many, many more.
