Designed in 1953 during the heydays of Mathieu Mategot’s illustrious career, the Flowerpot is proof that there is success in complex simplicity. He used his distinctive fabric-like metal sheet, which he called Rigitulle, to create the main structure of this piece. It’s refined and elegant shape and silhouette means that it can easily surround a plant pot and create an eternity of modernism for your home. It’s perforated form means that it provides a soft yet distinct layer around your pot, helping to make it blend far more seamlessly in with your home than a normal plastic one.
Available in three different distinct sizes, this creates an opportunity to create a statement collection with a few of them; whether you have multiple of the same size or perhaps three in decreasing sizes - the choice is yours. A hidden bonus of the largest size is that it can easily be used as other uses such as a wastepaper basket for your office, doubling its functionality when your favourite blooms are no longer in season
