Despite its name, the Gubi 1965 Pendant Light was originally designed in 1947 by Paavo Tynell, and like many of his famous works, this pendant was also made for the Finland House in New York. This is one of Tynell's most ambitious projects, showcasing true Finnish design at its finest. The metal finishes, elegant and graceful expression, as well as the artistic details, give it an exceptionally iconic style. Not to mention the triangular perforated pattern; a subtle addition to the design, giving it character and warmth.
The Gubi 1965 Pendant Light also features a frosted glass diffuser to help emit softer, more ambient light that is welcomed in every space. Place it in any subtle setting to utilise its tranquil presence. Hang at the centre of your living space, dining room or bedroom or rather suspend above the kitchen island or dining table for the ultimate central masterpiece.
If you are drawn to the stunning 1965 Pendant Light, then we believe that you will also love the rest of the Gubi collection as well our whole designer lighting range that has more beautiful pendant lights for you to discover.
