Complex and beautifully crafted, the Fritz Hansen PK11 Chair was designed by Poul
Kjaerholm in 1957 as a companion to the PK55 Table he created that same year. These two parts were originally designed as a matching set together, each complimenting one another fluently.
The PK11 is carried by a three-legged satin brushed stainless steel frame. The backrest comprises solid lacquered ash, while the seat is upholstered. Collectively, these elements make the PK11 appear visually eccentric and physically comfortable for its user. It's the perfect balance between. The rounded backrest means that you can enjoy ultimate comfort when sat back in this chair. Not only can it be paired with a desk as intended, it can also act as the ideal lounge chair in your living space or dining room.
Aside from this stunning icon, Fritz Hansen have many more contemporary designs within their chair collection.
