The Mayday Anniversary Table Lamp from Flos was redesigned by Konstantin Gricic and won the Compasso d’Oro award for its ground-breaking design. The Mayday is a lamp suitable for multiple uses and locations; you can position it on a table, place it on the floor or suspend it from the roof, all thanks to its practical handle which is also useful as a cord reel. The packaging for this design as well comes in the shape of a toolbox, which is part of the limited edition collection as a bonus for its achievement in award ceremonies.
The makeup of this lamp is different to the main Mayday collection as well, as instead of plastic, this is made from diecast aluminium with a natural anodized finishing throughout. Each handle of the anniversary lamp is engraved with an exclusive serial number plus the designer's signature, making them extra special.
