Space Copenhagen are known for their ‘Poetic Modernism’ design approach and their ambition is to create new paths by balancing opposites – classic and modern, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimal, light and shade. Space Copenhagen have collaborated with a multitude of designer furniture brands including Gubi , Stellar Works, Fredericia Furniture, &Tradition and Mater to create a wide number of timeless furniture and lighting pieces.
Space Copenhagen are well known for their famous Stay series with Gubi. This collection consists of uniquely designed seating displaying round edges which encourages the user to stay seated and stay relaxed. A new collection to Gubi is the Howard lighting series which comprises of a selection of chandeliers and pendants all displaying the same industrial yet elegant form. We also love the Gravity lighting series by Gubi which features eye-catching pendants, table and floor lamps with a recognisable heavy marble base, contrasted with a lightweight, delicate shade.
Due to the wide selection of pieces which we have to offer here at beut which have been designed by Space Copenhagen, we know that you will find something you will love, whether that be for your dining room, living room, kitchen or bedroom. With many high-quality materials used, for example solid marble, oak, glass and more, each design is made to stand the test of time. The studio’s intuitive approach embodies designs that are distinctively shaped by given circumstances, functional needs, and a fundamental interest in human behaviour.
