The BK14 Sun Bed was designed by Danish architect Bodil Kjær in the early 1960’s and aims to match together themes of premium quality and design with the utmost comfort for your home. With an adjustable backrest, the BK14 can be used to support you in a reclined motion and can easily coax you into sleep if paired with the Sunbrella cushions - which are weather resistant. This piece was inspired by the Cubist movement and can be seen reflected throughout with clean and sharp lines.
Created as part of the Indoors-Outdoors collection, the sun bed can be kept in both and looks just as good when complimented by fresh air and sunlight as it does in a conservatory. The teak wood frame is durable and strong and can handle the elements bravely thanks to its oil coating which provides it with it’s gorgeous bronze colour and handles aging gracefully.
Pair this with the BK16 Side Table
so that you can easily rest your things whilst reclining, or perhaps look at beut’s collection of benches as an alternative. Or, explore more of the stunning Carl Hansen collection whilst you are here.
